He left 35 years later in 2005 as Assistant General Manager. James Amuhaya joined on March 6, 1978. He is pictured in the centre and is still working for the Fairview in Accounts!

Jackets and ties were pre-requisities in this day and age. Also note that Guests were charged for pressing in their rooms! I guess Trip Advisor has changed all that!
