Recently, the Fairview invested in five-star conferencing facilities equipped with the latest conferencing necessities. All rooms have both a wired high speed internet connection as well as wi-fi access. Moreover, the hotel just installed a wireless voice network.  This means that our Conferencing Coordinator is just an internal call away so when you need help, we will be there in a few seconds!  In 2008, the Fairview will be investing in new conferencing tables and chairs!

Kijiji - (Swahili for "The Village")

This room is arguably one of the best conferencing alternatives in Nairobi. The room is equipped with all the latest conferencing necessities including a laptop/video projecter, flip charts, speakers, air conditioner etc. We have also invested in special equipment to hang flip chart papers on the walls as well as various white boards that hang on the wall.

The room can accommodate up to 60 people depending on the chair layout. (See PDF brochure for more detail here)

Alternatively, the room can be divided into two rooms (with a custom-made dividor from the USA) and can accommodate 20 people in Kijiji A and 40 people in Kijiji B.

The conference room has its own cloakrooms which were also completed recently.

The most attractive element of Kijiji is not inside the conference room but outside - the conferencing facility overlooks its own private garden (See photo on right).

During the coffee break, all conferencing participants enjoy fresh air on the verandah overlooking the garden!!

This room was also remodeled recently and offers all the latest conferencing necessities including a laptop/video projecter, flip charts, air conditioner etc. The room has a great deal of natural daylight and overlooks a quiet garden courtyard. Conference Room "Aquarist"

Majani was constructed in 2007 to offer an un-matched small boardroom experience.  Majani can accommodate 16 people in a board room environment.  It is an outstanding addition to Fairview's Conferencing Portfolio  The room also opens up on a private garden for coffee breaks.
