Recently, the Fairview invested in five-star conferencing facilities equipped with the latest conferencing necessities. All rooms offer plenty of natural daylight and allow conference delegates to step into the fresh air (surrounded by beautiful gardens) for coffee breaks. Conferencing equipment includes laptop LCD projectors, flip charts, speakers, and air conditioners. The flip charts and white boards are top notch as they are designed for conferencing rooms. All rooms have both a wired high speed internet connection as well as wi-fi access. Moreover, the hotel has a wireless voice network. This means that our Conferencing Coordinator is just an internal call away so when you need help, we will be there in a few seconds! Also, our LCD projectors are connected to a UPS to ensure conference delegates are not interrupted during a power cut (prior to the generator kicking in).

(Swahili for “The Village”) This room is arguably one of the best conferencing alternatives in Nairobi. The room can accommodate up to 60 people depending on the chair layout. Alternatively, the room can be divided into two rooms (with a custom-made dividor from the USA) and can accommodate 20 people in Kijiji A and 40 people in Kijiji B. The conference room has its own cloakrooms. The most attractive element of Kijiji is not inside the conference room but outside – the conferencing facility overlooks its own private garden. During the coffee break, all conferencing participants enjoy fresh air on the verandah overlooking the garden!!

This room was also remodeled recently. The room has a great deal of natural daylight and overlooks a quiet garden courtyard. The room can accommodate up to 45 people depending on the chair layout.

Majani was constructed recently with the aim to offer an un-matched small boardroom experience. Majani can accommodate 14 people in a board room environment. It is an outstanding addition to Fairview’s Conferencing Portfolio. The room also opens onto a private garden for coffee breaks.
